More gap year travel – both for graduates coming onto the jobs market and seing no jobs, and adults made redundant. If they have no strings attached, or a few savings, its tempting to take off and come back when its all over

Disneyland in the USA is going to boom, if the price of oil stays down, then the European trips to Asia will return and the USA trips to Europe will return. The USA citizens have passports now so trips to the Carribean and Mexico will decrease and trips to Costa Rica, South America and Asia will increase.
Europeans are doubling up on trips inside Europe as the Low Cost Carriers allow them to travel cheaper for weekend trips, so more weekend excursions and less long haul.
Hopefully the Ecotourist industry realizes that the only goog eco-tourist is one that stays home and does not increase the footprint.
